Truth Seekers HQ update

A note from Anne-Rae Vasquez, author of the Among Us Trilogy.

I am literally four chapters close to the end of writing RESIST (book 2 of Among Us Trilogy). I have a small team of Beta Readers who have given me immeasurable feedback which means I do a lot of going back and tweaking/editing previous chapters. What also inspires me is watching great shows on Netflix.

For the past few years, I tried to start watching CW’s TV show Supernatural. However, Season 1 just didn’t give me the hook I needed to start. Fortunately Josefina, my developmental editor, kept pushing me to keep watching. When I finished watching the show Medium, I was hungry for another paranormal series. So I decided to get back into Supernatural.

Once I got into Season 2, my addiction kicked in. And each season is only getting better and better.

My favourite episode to date is The New Prophet. The idea of this is hilarious and intriguing. But who wants to hear me ramble when you can watch it yourself.  SPOILER ALERT!!!  This is a teaser for Season 4 so if you are watching but arent’ there yet, CLOSE YOUR EYES now! lol — Anne-Rae Vasquez, author of Doubt, book 1 of Among Us Trilogy

Here are some details about Doubt, book 1 of the Among Us Trilogy.

Do you love shows like Supernatural, Fringe and Medium?

“Doubt” mashes fringe science, corporate espionage and paranormal encounters to catapult you into an out-of-this-world experience.

At 21 years old, Harry and Cristal are fresh out of university with their PhD’s. Labeled all their lives as being ‘weird’ and ‘geeky’, they find true friendships with other outcasts by playing online virtual reality games. Harry Doubt, a genius programmer and creator of the popular online game ‘Truth Seekers’, has a personal mission to find his mother who went mysteriously missing. He enlists his gaming friends to join in helping him find her and their own missing loved ones. During Harry’s missions, Cristal and the team of ‘Truth Seekers’ stumble upon things that make them doubt the reality of their own lives when they realize there are supernatural forces living among them. This triggers the beginning of the ‘end of the world’ as they know it.
